In the interest of the safety of our students, faculty and staff there will be no school in the Zachary Community School District on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Due to the potential for prolonged periods of hard freeze which may result in water service interruption, strains on the city’s gas pressure or adversely affect building conditions, all schools and offices will be closed. We are operating out of an abundance of caution with consideration for difficulties which may prevent students and employees from being able to adequately prepare for school Tuesday. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and are asking employees, parents and students to monitor area media for updates on school closures.
