Louisiana Business Challenge is a competition that is sponsored by the Louisiana Tourism Board and University of Louisiana at Lafayette. It is open to all high school students. Students must form a team of 3 to 4 people. Each team is required to develop a project based on the topic selected by the committee and submit a summary of their project. The judges then narrow the teams down to 15. If a team makes it to second round, they must submit their entire project in writing. The top 6 teams with the best projects are invited to the final round. They compete for $30,000.00 in scholarship money. The prize money was divided among the six teams.
ZHS team members were Victor Lee, Cobe Daniel, and Angelo Tarver. They placed 3rd in the competition and won four thousand dollars in scholarship money.
