This past weekend, Zachary High sent two quiz bowl teams to compete in the North Louisiana History Quiz Bowl Tournament at Airline High School in Bossier City.
- The teams competed against 18 teams, and both teams reached the Semi-Finals in the tournament. Both teamsqualified to compete at the National History Quiz Bowl Tournament in Washington D.C.
- In the individual History Bee competition, Quiz Bowl Captain Yara Hantash placed first overall and Jac Cantwell placed third. Both qualified to compete individually at the National Competition.
- Lama Hantash and Aanan Henderson each took the US History Exam and qualified to compete in Washington DC as well.
- Southall and the quiz bowl teams look forward to competing again at the Louisiana State History Quiz Bowl Tournament, hosted here at ZHS on February 21st.
